Yes, we have had them on the Empress deck. This cabin has one pull down bed and one single, twin bed. But just ask for a roll a way! (We're too old to climb up to the bunk or down off of in the middle of the night to visit that small room.) The roll a way is put next to the other bed and they are made up as one bed with one set of sheets & blanket. You don't have a lot of room in the cabin but you can walk around the beds and your not going to dance there. We ask for the roll a way when we book so when we get to our cabin the beds are together.

 

When I have asked things on the ship's site here, I never get an answer but I do here.

My sister and I have had several 1A's on the Conquest, Magic and Breeze. They have always been porthole cabins with one twin and a sofa made into a bed on the main deck.

 

They have lots of floor space and the only negative is getting use to the sound of the waves hitting the hull.
