Casino Question

Is it possible to get money from the casino and have it charged to our cabin account? I don't want to bring too much $ with me. We like to gamble a bit and hope that we can get money from/for the casino and charge it to our onboard account. I don't want to get involved with cash advances, ATMs, etc. We spend maybe $100/day, certainly not more.

We don't play table games, but you can definitely charge to your on board account in the slot machines.

As the last poster said, if you go to the cage directly (or to the front desk) cash advances cost a 3% fee. If you charge money to your key-card in a slot machine, take at least one spin, and then cash-out there is no fee.

I'd ask. There have been varying reports on the vig. We usually buy casino chips for ourselves via the HAL website before cruising. No fee, and you can send yourself a nice note that is printed on the card you get to redeem your chips.

 

In case you were wondering, the nice notes do not translate into winnings, despite the fact that our notes specifically told us to "win big." :)
