South America price increases

I've been researching an SA cruise for early 2015 or early 2016 and if I'm not mistaken, I think the 2015 Celebrity prices just jumped about $1000 this week. I wish I had written the prices down earlier, but when I last looked, I don't think the 2016 prices were available yet, and now that they are, it seems like the 2015 ones took the big jump. Did anyone else catch this or am I imagining things?

I have noticed most travel from cruise ships to land tours are up from around $600 to a $1000 dollars over last year.

But the weird thing here is that, if I remember correctly, the prices jumped about a thousand dollars in the last week or so. And that's for this next year's upcoming cruises. The spring 2015 ones. The spring 2016 cruises are actually less.

We booked a SA cruise for end of January 2016 within a few days of it opening for CC members. It is now approx $1000 higher than when we booked, and AQ is sold out for now. Probably depends upon the popularity of the particular itinerary.
