Mailed Platinum Gifts??

Has anyone been told the ship was out of Platinum gifts and they would be mailing it? They had me fill out a form back in November and said the gift would be mailed. It is now the end of March and still no gift. I called Carnival and they said the 'shipment' had been delayed and I should receive it in a few weeks. Any others had this happen?

We did a 'Past Guest Reunion' cruise a few years back and the shipment of on board gifts was lost, and they mailed each of us a collection of shirts, caps, and other Carnival branded items. It's most likely they are waiting on the new Platinum gifts that come out in May instead of picking out an item.

They were out of platinum gifts when I was on the cruise in November...they told me that they were mailing mine...I filled out the form...and wrote on there for the Tervis Tumbler if possible.....and it took a couple of months but I did receive mine in the mail.:)

Great. It was November for me as well. Perhaps I should call again. It's been over 4 months.:(

I just looked back...I received mine on January 7th because I took a picture of it ... and my cruise was November 16th.

Well, my cruise was November 10th, and I still don't have it. I'll call for sure

We did the mail form. I was talking to my PVP about another cruise and mentioned it to him. About a week later we got the gift.

 

I would call again, it couldn't hurt.

Happened to me once---about two years ago----waited the indicated arrival time---no gift so I called --- received two logo hats-- blue baseball for man and pink visor for ladies---also a pink duffel type bag and a blue backpack---

 

For some reason, several months later received the little binoculars----
