Seeking Windsor & Oxford Tour

My parents are embarking on a cruise in Southampton, but spending a few days in London prior. Their main priority while in London is to get to Windsor Castle and Oxford on a day trip. They're looking for a PRIVATE tour. Neither public transportation nor a motorcoach tour are options, and they realize they'll pay appropriately.

 

Any thoughts or recommendations?

We did not take a private tour as you are suggesting for your parents....but we highly recommend that is the way to go. We had used International Friends and were disappointed in the time allotted to see Windsor Castle and the quaint and charming town of Windsor...have you looked at a train connection from London?

We flew into Heathrow and took a day tour will Jill from Windsor Day Tours. She was great. She also picked us up after the cruise and gave us a day tour that ended up in our hotel in London.

 

We plan to use her again next year when we cruise out of Southampton. She took us to Windsor Castle and other places. It was a nice ride, didn't feel rushed and she was very professional.
