Phone calls from Bermuda...

Hi guys...I'm sailing on the Majesty leaving this Sunday. I didn't plan on calling anyone, but I need to check my cell phone...why you ask? I had a interview for an elementary teaching position and need to be able to get messages from them! (Finally!) I figure my Nextel phone won't work, so what's my best option....$8.00 a minute on the majesty? Or are there phone cards I can buy and use on the island? Thanks...

There are phonecards for sale right at the dock when you get off the ship in Bermuda. The machines are right by the phones. Have a great cruise!

check with Nextel. Verizon cell phones works on the island and most us telephones will as well.

I was wondering the same as I have Nextel as well and I REFUSE to pay 8.00 per minute.
