Has anyone been to Gythion?

Hallo Linda,

I've been to Gytheion once. It's a small town, very picturesque I'd say. Greek tradiotonal tavernas and cafeterias around the port, not that expensive as in other places. If you have the time just rent a car and go to Diros cave, around 40km, a MUST see.

Having been there recently, I would say Gythion is a port that looks better from the ship than "up close and personal"

Should I visit there again, I would either get a taxi and go somewhere else or treat it like a sea day.
