San Diego, Luggage storage?

We will be disembarking at San Diego and have a few hours to kill. Is there any luggage storage in the pier or nearby? Thanks.

None at the pier. You can check in your luggage at the nearby airport no earlier than 4 hours prior to your flight. There is no other luggage storage there either.

 

How much time do you have, and what do you plan to do?? If you rent a car, just easier to take the luggage with you in your trunk. Some people have been able to check it at a local hotel, even if not staying there, with a suitable tip to the bell hop (don't tell them you are not staying at the hotel).
