While on the Beach in St John

I have a Kyss bag. You can stow your stuff, then use the chain to lock it to a chair, tree or other object. It's not completely theftproof, but enough to discourage someone. We have traveled extensively and this bag has come in handy so many times. We also have small watertight containers for a credit card or cash. These go around our necks or in a pocket while in the water. We really carry very little of value off the ship.

I just bought a Kyss bag as well. I love it! It came in very handy when we were at Jalousie Beach in St Lucia last month. There were a lot of locals and tourists from other groups around and I was glad to be able to lock it up while DH and I were snorkeling.

I don't think anyone would steal towels and flip flops and we take as little as possible off the ship. But for the small valuables, we have a waterproof bag that you can wear around your waist. We often just take turns to snorkel though anyway- it's easier that way.
