2x points princess visa

I have the princess visa card....princess purchases get 2x points so I want to pay for a cruise deposit and final payment with it. Also plan to pay ahead some OBC, beer buckets, etc

 

Does anyone know if I go to a TA for booking and use the card for that deposit/final payment will I get the 2x points? Wondering if the charge shows up as listed to the "agency name" if it won't qualify.

Yes. Even through a TA the charge on your credit card should always be to Princess Cruises. IMO its a big red flag if the charge shows the name of the TA.

You will get 2X points. I just made my final payment thru my TA and they just provide the info to Princess who then charges the credit card and the payment shows up as Princess and not the TA.

My final payment thru TA also showed up as 'Princess Cruise Passage' and I recieved the 2x points.

I would think a lot of TA's are happy to process your payment using credit card "directly" through the cruiseline. They get the commission and NOT the credit card service fee charge. :)
