I was worried about this for my son... he mostly ate salad at the buffet and steamed vegetables in the MDR. I thought it such a waste!

I am vegan and I have had mixed reviews on my two Princess cruises. The first on the Ruby I had no issues with finding something or having them prepare something vegan. The second time on Coral was much different. The waiters were not very willing to get the head waiter to assist me each night. They kept saying that if I did not have an allergy I would find something vegetarian on the menu. Mind you everything on the menu that is vegetarian is full of egg.

 

I think the experience and ability to eat something other than a salad without protein depends on the ship and staff at the time.
