LaserSB3Family Posted April 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) We are first time cruisers, a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 9 and 3 at time of cruise. We are sailing on the Magic on the 7 day Norwegian fjord cruise next June. Will Disney help us with hotel reservations, transfers to port, etc in Copenhagen? We booked directly with Disney for the cruise but also have the option of working with a AAA agent for airfare and other needs in Copenhagen. Or we can book ourselves. We are kind of picky about which airlines we want to fly-prefer Luftansa. We want to fly in 2 days early and depart 2-3 days after we disembark. Will the food on the ship reflect where we are cruising? Does Disney use local food suppliers in Europe? This will be our first trip to Europe with kids so any advice on this subject is appreciated. My boys are fairly well traveled in America but have never been abroad. We are working on learning some Norwegian. Thanks in advance! DISNEY FANTASY Posted April 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2014 We are first time cruisers, a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 9 and 3 at time of cruise. We are sailing on the Magic on the 7 day Norwegian fjord cruise next June. Will Disney help us with hotel reservations, transfers to port, etc in Copenhagen? They will but there expensive and only have agreements with a few hotels, best to book it direct. We booked directly with Disney for the cruise but also have the option of working with a AAA agent for airfare and other needs in Copenhagen. Or we can book ourselves. Will the food on the ship reflect where we are cruising? Does Disney use local food suppliers in Europe? Yes in the Med, Baltic and even Alaska they did have nights to reflect local food and do use local suppliers as well as shipping there usual ones. Salad and fruit do not travel to well it's best local. This will be our first trip to Europe with kids so any advice on this subject is appreciated.
