Port Parking Independance

Recommended Posts

A bit of heads up on the parking situation for the Independence of the Seas at Ft. Lauderdale. There is NO parking at the ships berth. You have to park at the “Mid-Port” Parking Garage. So the process is; when you enter the port and pass by security, take the right at the first light. Follow the line of traffic and guides until you get to the ship. Drop off bags and passengers if you like. Proceed back out of that pier area and follow the signs to the Mid Port garage. After you park, there are free shuttles at the elevator area to take you back to the ship for check in. Upon return, you take your bags out to the curb and there are buses there that will load your luggage and take you back to the parking garage. There are limited elevators at the garage so have patience as you lug you bags back to your vehicle.

Park-N-Go or Park-N-Fly seem like better options to me at half the price. Edited by FLACRUISER99
