Wine-O Posted April 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2014 What is the hump? On the S-Class ship, the hump area is that portion of the ship where the aft elevators are located. It juts out a little bit. Here's a thumbnail that shows that portion on Deck 9. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=24259746&postcount=
Lastdance Posted April 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2014 It also gives your cabin a larger balcony, depending on where your stateroom is located on the hump. Personally, I love these cabins and have stayed in them numerous times. The service has always been fantastic, especially if your attendant also services suites!
wallie5446 Posted April 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) What is the hump? The cabins on the part of the ship that angles where you can look down or up the side of the ship. This is the view from our 'hump' cabin on the port side of the back hump on the Reflection. Edited April 6, 2014 by wallie5446
luvbermuda Posted April 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2014 We recently sailed on the Celebrity Silhouette and had a cabin on the hump #1245. The location was perfect and the balcony was nice also!:)
