Ewoodspark Posted April 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2014 If we sailed the Caribbean, we would tip the cabin steward in American Dollars. I appreciate that all NCL sailings are costed in Dollars, but if we sailed around Europe, would we be expected to tip cabin stewards in Dollars or Euros? We would certainly take Euros in cash form for the ports and would not need dollars as any ship charges would be paid by credit card. No doubt the stewards would take anything offered to them, regardless of what currency it was in , but any thoughts would be welcomed.
mypleasure Posted April 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) We tip in Euro's when in Europe on top of the Daily Service Charge if warranted as it usually is. Edited April 6, 2014 by mypleasure

rednose83 Posted April 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2014 I'm sure either would be welcome.
jjikids Posted April 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) I'm sure either would be welcome. We gave some dollars and some euros since we had euros left. Agree that they are just happy with the extra money. Edited April 6, 2014 by jjikids
