Tampa port wait

We are sitting here at the Tampa port waiting to board the Legend, told us there is a delay in boarding due to cost guard drills. Not sure yet when they will let us board, told they had to drop all the life boats in the water.

We sail next week, hope this is a one time only thing. Feel bad for you, hopefully it will go by fast and make the most of it! Keep us updated :)

Yes, they are doing the monthly check of the ship. You should be fine next week.

They have brought out waters and snacks for us while we wait. Good job port of Tampa.:)

I used to work closely with the Coast Guard here in Tampa and I can tell you they are high and tight. Although it is an inconvenience I would feel good knowing the ship just passed a coast guard inspection. They are a good bunch who puts passenger safety front and center.

Okay, now enjoy your cruise. I will be on The Legend in three weeks for a birthday cruise.

 

Have fun and eat at drink way too much like I will.
