I'm looking for an affordable way to travel from San Juan to Arecibo. We will be visiting Cueva Ventana (Amazing views) but a taxi there wil probably be super expensive...looking for other options...:confused:

Just so you know, according to the Aerostar Taxi sheet from the Airport ot Arecibo the rate is $96.00, plus $2.00 gas surcharge and $1 per bag fee. That rate is for the taxi, not per person.

I was just looking at day trips and there are tour companies that go to Arecibo. The one I came across was Rico Sun tours. I have never used them before - just searching the web!

 

We stayed in Puerto Rico for a week pre-cruise about 3 years ago. At that time, we rented a car and drove to Arecibo.
