Mariner Shore Excursion Question

Ten of us will be traveling on the Mariner of the Seas on November 27th, 2005. I have been looking into the ship sponsored shore excursions and would like to know if anyone has been to the BVI to The Baths. It says it is a 7 hr and 45 minute excursion, but it looks like you are only at the beach for 2 hours. Does it take a long time to get there and back to the ship? Is it worth the travel time? Any details you can give me would be appreciated.
