Ms.Albuquerque Posted April 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2014 We have just booked a Christmas Cruise and will be in Belize on Christmas Day. After reading about all the great things to do there, I realized that things might be closed due to the holiday. Any advice? Suggestions?
Rare crewsweeper Posted April 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2014 I would imagine most of the shops the Tourism Village, where the tenders dock will be open. The crafts market across from the T.V. may or may not have vendors there. There are a couple of nearby churches for services. But Belize City is a working city and there's not a lot of tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity of the T.V. I wouldn't know about independent excursions whether they operate or not. I would assume they would operate. This is their livelihood. Ship sponsored excursions will operate.
pokerpro5 Posted April 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2014 Altun Ha tour is what I did, and it was nice. Don't do it with Vitalino Reyes/Cavetubing BZ though. That guy does not honor his own deals.
