BrusselsGirl07 Posted April 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2014 Hi Nick and Anne, the Galapagos is amazing and you won't regret either itinerary. All of your questions and more will be answered in the 'Monster Thread' which is in the Celebrity roll call section, under Xpedition. It is a sticky at the top of the page titled 'Xpedition - anyone recently back?' and has gotten so big, they had to close that thread and make a new one called 'Xpedition - anyone recently back? - part 2'. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=278 It is a wealth of information about the trip, what to expect, what to take, discussions about the best itinerary, the best time to go etc. It was a huge help when we planned our trip. JJPacer Posted April 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2014 We went in Dec. The Galapagos are close to the equator so there isn't a big range in temperatures. There's more rainfall in March and April. The question is what do you want to see. Read the reviews. You can see the birds with their eggs, or see the chicks. The Albatross leave the Galapagos in Jan. or Feb. There are reviews of each itinerary. See which one appeals to you.
