arriving and departing same day (different ships)

what happened to my thread? It seems it has disappeared.

 

I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this a B2B on different cruiselines.

 

arriving in Venice on Splendour of the Seas and embarking on NCL Jade on the same day. Planning to drop off all luggage on the NCL Jade and proceed to visit Venice. then check in late in the afternoon?

 

Has anyone done this? Would like to know if it went well.

I just did this in Miami. :) Easiest transfer. I just walked from one ship to the other. Porters were no available when I got there, so I had about a 30 minute wait. Would have had time for touring if I chose.
