You will not need bug spray in Bermuda.In all our stays there I can't ever remember being bitten by anything.

Mosquitos do exist in Bermuda but they are uncommon and most tourists never get bitten. There is not much standing fresh water in Bermuda for mosquitos to breed in but the Government takes mosquito control seriously. During the summer the Government has people touring neighbourhoods looking for possible areas where mosquitos can breed such as bird baths, buckets left outside . . .etc. Homeowners will first get a warning and later will be fined if they don't rectify the situation. As far as I know the beaches on the South Shore and in St. Georges are mosquito-free.

I couldn't believe how hot it was in NYC! I wanted to get away from the heat and instead wound up in mid-90s temperatures. :p

I on the other hand am looking forward to this vacation. I don’t mind the heat at all. Hopefully we wont be diverted to Canada like the Voyager. :D
