Oasis of the Seas room selection

We will be cruising on the Oasis with a baby (10 mos) in August. I have a choice between 8th deck all the way forward or the 14th ocean balcony under teen center. (I know the inside cabins they say may hear noises but they dont mention the balcony cabins may).

I am torn between the convenience of being near Central Park or the "hidden" deck on the 14th. It would sure make for a great "play pen" or a nice area during nap times, being able to watch aqua show...

What would you do if you had the choice?

Thanks for your help!

I would have to think about all the way forward or aft, just because of the walk. We are relatively healthy, so it is not the actual walking as much as the convenience factor. We noticed on Jewel, a smaller ship but no aft elevators/stairs, it was annoying if you forgot something. It bugged me enough to start looking for cabins close to stairwells. ;)

Another thing to consider, teens have dance parties until curfew, which is 1am , not sure about noise....
