canadarocks Posted April 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Exotic Garden & Pigeon Island Beach Break (SLU-220 | St. Lucia) Transfer from Pier to your first visit - Stony Hill Estate Transfer from Stony Hill Estate to Pigeon Island to enjoy the beach. Transfer from Pigeon Island to Pier 4 hours long I'm trying to decide between this and an independent tour company that would take us to Pigeon Beach. Is Stony Hill Estate worth a visit? Carolyn R Posted April 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2014 You may get a better response on the St. Lucia port of call board.

I just did this excursion a couple of weeks ago while on the Emerald Princess (march 29-April 8) Stony Hill Estate is lovely...the gardens and views are breathtaking. The house is owned by a retired doctor and his wife. The beach was ok..the water was nice and it was more than swimable...I didn't walk to the fort nearby...it was quite the hike and it was a very warm day. All in all a very enjoyable, if low-key, excursion... Edited April 22, 2014 by everlong
canadarocks Posted April 23, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Thank you very much everlong. Can I ask how many people were there on this excursion?
everlong Posted April 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 23, 2014 At the estate there were probably around 50 or so....but some were staggered so it didn't seem crowded. There were more than that at the beach...but it wasn't too crowded..lots of chairs to go around...

On the website it says both 90 minutes and 2 hours and 15 minutes in the tour description
everlong Posted April 23, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 23, 2014 We were there for a couple of hours. Long enough to swim, sun and relax. It seemed long enough for me.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
