viper17d Posted April 29, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Just curious, how were you guys checking the prices to see if the C&A promotion lowered the price of your existing reservation? Were you just logging into your RCCL account and reserving the cruise through the site or was there a special C&A link you were following? Brian - you got it - just logging into your C&A and trying to reserve. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
MisterBill99 Posted May 1, 2014 #27 Share Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Would they then honor the balcony discount as well? As well as what? Do you mean what's shown on the website? It turns out that the special C&A rates include the C&A balcony discount. In fact, based on what I saw from just looking at Quantum/Anthem rates from NJ, it's often the only discount (that is, it doesn't show you only cruises that really have discounts other than the C&A balcony discount). Even worse, it seems to be showing prices lower than you actually end up paying (and I don't mean port charges). As an example (which I am very familiar with because I just booked it), the November 10, 2015 12 night on Anthem is $1919 for a DO. But when I view it on the site it initially claims that it's $1579. Even if I subtract my entire $325 Diamond discount (which isn't right since it's only half that per person), I still do not get to $1579 and I see nothing that is lower than the DO. I did look at one of the Bahamas itineraries and was able to get closer to what they were showing, but it still wasn't exact.
