NCL star, bringing water/soda?

hello fellow cruisers

has anyone noticed if you can bring cases of soda or bottled water on NCl?

when I went on Carnival conquest last sept, a lot of people had cases of this and they walked on with them,but I didnt know how NCL is ,,

any input would be great, I dont want to go there with a case and get embarrassed,,,, :)

We only took a few bottles of water onboard in our carry-ons when we were on the star, but from what I have read on this board previously, you can take cases of water/pop on board. One person even said that he put one of his room tags on a case of water like he did with his regular suitcases and the case showed up at the cabin unopened and in good shape.

 

I did notice that in one of our ports, a store had a special on cases of pop and a couple people bought them and were carrying them onboard. They had to run them through the scanners, but they were allowed to take them onboad.

No problem whatsoever taking on soda or bottled water.

Does NCL sell Coke or Pepsi products?

Coke. No Pepsi. It seems that Coke has a monopoly on cruise ships. I have yet to run across a ship that serves Pepsi (and that includes reading about it).
