Shore Excursions on NCL Sun

My daughter and I will be on board the NCL Sun 10-30-05. We would like to take shore excursions on all stops but have heard about how sad the begging children and starving animals are. This could easily ruin our whole cruise - not so much the children but if there are pitiful dogs.....

I know you don't want to hear this, but you could be in trouble. I would not normally recommend this to anyone, but if it will affect you that much, you might be better off staying on the ship.
