cdnphotogirl Posted April 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Can you please confirm the English pub is open only on Sea days? and for lunch Can you make reservations for lunch on these days?
dmwnc1959 Posted April 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Can you please confirm the English pub is open only on Sea days? and for lunch Can you make reservations for lunch on these days? Pub Lunch is strictly 'First-come, first-served', and reservations of seats/times are not available. It is conducted on Sea Days only, usually beginning around 11:30am and ending around 2:30pm. If during your cruise more than one Pub Lunch is conducted, the set menu will have several different items between the two days. You can see example menus and food pictures from the Pub Lunches I had on Royal Princess here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2017216 :D
coops14 Posted April 25, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Wow, thank you so much, this is exactly what we were looking for. Can you take any of the food and or drink from the restaurants or bars and take them back to your room. or is it room service only? Also, if we would like a bottle of wine in our room, how do we arrange that? Thanks again
dmwnc1959 Posted April 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Wow, thank you so much, this is exactly what we were looking for.Can you take any of the food and or drink from the restaurants or bars and take them back to your room. or is it room service only? Also, if we would like a bottle of wine in our room, how do we arrange that? Thanks again The MDR's, Sabatini's, Crown Grill, Alfredo's, Pub Lunch, and the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar don't do 'carry-out' orders. These are all 'sit-down' dining establishments. Food from the International Cafe and the various Lido decks venues (the buffets, Trident Grill, Prego, Swirls) can be taken away and to your room if you want, but none of those venues have trays. It would be difficult to carry food/drinks for more than one person. Drinks from any bar can be taken back to your room. You can buy a bottle of wine from Vines or pre-order through the Princess Cruises Gifts: http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/gifts_services/cellars_culinarydelights/princess_cellars/index.jsp :D

dmwnc1959 Posted April 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2014 The pastry section of the Horizon Court is also open 24 hours. The Pastry Shop also has really nice fresh waffles every morning. A lot of people miss that since they focus on the main buffet lines. ;)
