Donyale Posted May 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2004 My family returned from a 7 night Disney cruise March 2004. We are eagly planning another Disnye cruise for next year. This time we stayed in a Cat 11 inside stateroom and next year we are contemplating a one bedroom suite. Has anyone out there stayed in one? I would greatly appreciate any info anyone has on this. TootyJane Posted May 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2004 We've always stayed in the Cat. 2 (2 bedroom) never the 1 bedroom. However, Cat. 1, 2 and 3 are usually booked a couple of years in advance. If you really want to book one of these suites, you should fax a request to Inventory Control (407) 566-7739. If there is a specific stateroom you want be sure to ask. Also, specify several cruising dates as the one you want may not be available. hencoll Posted May 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Thanks for the great pictures of the Cat. 3 Suites. Ducklite, we booked "your" Suite for our Sept. 2005 cruise, your description and pictures won us over. One question though, did you have any issues with noise from Deck 9 and/or being near the elevator lobby? ducklite Posted May 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2004 We never heard a peep from the hallway. We heard a little noise form the deck above...in teh afternoon sometimes you'd hear a ping pong ball drop, and every now and then a sraping sound like a chair being moved around, but it was never bothersome to us. hencoll Posted May 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 12, 2004 It sounds like noise should not be problem for us then. Our home backs up to an open field and in the winter it is used constantly for snow mobiles and in the spring/summer it is four wheelers. My 3 DDs as well as me and DH have pretty well adapted to background noise.
