I read that there are UK and US sockets in the cabins. Are they both on the dressing table section? I have a US hairdryer which I take aboard US cruise ships. I wondered whether I should take it or my UK one. It is a good hairdryer. I was disappointed with the ship`s ones so I bought it one year in Aruba.

Since most electronic products and hairdryers are dual voltage nowadays I always bring an adapter to use the other plugs in the room.

So for me I would bring a UK adapter for my American electronics, etc.

Adapters are not the same as converters and are very inexpensive to buy.

Bringing a power strip so you have enough sockets is a good idea.
