Distance between Cape Liberty and NYC

How far is it from Cape Liberty and Times Square, which my DW wants to spend a couple of days. If you fly into Newark how far from the airport to the port?

From EWR to Cape Liberty is not very far as the crow flies. However there can be traffic. No traffic, maybe 20 minutes or so. With traffic, it's taken us 45 minutes before.

Bob is on the right track.

In the New York metro area, it's not so much the precise distance, but how much time it takes or how much it costs to get from point A to point B. Cape Liberty and Newark Airport are in New Jersey and Times Square is in New York City, so going between these locations requires you to use the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel or the train. New York City cabs are not required to transport you to NJ, which is why we recommend using a car service. Bottom line - if you don't use public transit, you will pay a lot more to get around the area.

If you have specific questions about the ins and outs of visiting the area, please come to the East Coast Board to get your questions answered.
