HELP! Luggage tags and boarding pass

Does it matter if these documents (especially the luggage tags) print in black and white??? I don't have access to a colored printer :(

It says on the Luggage tag that is doesn't need to be printed in color

A. No, the bag tag can be printed in black and white, simply follow the instructions on the luggage tag page.

No problem. You can also let the porter who takes your bag at the port, put the proper tag on your luggage, if you wish. It's just a bit faster to put the tag on your luggage yourself. (Also, you can make sure that the proper cabin number is on the tag!) ;)

While it's allowed to print in black and white and your bags will make it, I've made a trip to the local Kinko's to print tags in color when I didn't have a color printer. Makes me feel as if the bags will be routed more efficiently if the tags are in color. :o

I've always done B&W and never lost my luggage. (Knocks on wood!!!)

I've been printing black/white for a number of years. Only time I had a problem with a lost bag was when the tag fell off.... Now I staple it a LOT MORE than the one they suggest :)

I agree, not required, but I always print mine in color, laminate, and attach with a zip tie...

I agree - plus the tags hold up better when the kids refuse to take them off the luggage for all trips until we go on another cruise (I think it's their way of protesting):D

Exactly why each bag gets a copy of its tag in an outside pocket. Worst case if the tag comes off someone opening the bag looking for identification will find the other tag printout.

They look more tropical when printed in color. I use those fancy cruise tag things and color tags just looks all special, even if it doesn't make a bit of difference. :P And I put a second copy inside each bag.

As others hae said, I have always done B&W with no problems. I also have learned to add a few more staples than normal, but don't feel that I need to do much more than that.

No problems with B&W, but I also print out in color, and place the tag inside a self-laminating pouch from Staples or Walmart, and secure with a zip tie.
