We are returning to Stockholm after a Baltic cruise. We have been in Stockholm four times and would like to travel north for just a couple of days. Does anyone have any suggestions of where we should visit? Stay? Eat? Thanks for all input.

How far is to far away? I have earlier recommended Höga Kusten (the High coast area) which is located around Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik.

As for flying, SAS also have flights to Sundsvall airport which is 30km south of Härnösand. http://www.flysas.com/en/us/

 

There are bus connections from Sundsvall aiport to Härnösand and it will take about 50 minutes.
