$99 Atlantis rooms

I called last week when this was mentioned in another thread. If you have children under 12 they are free..........if they are 12 and over (as mine are ) then it is $45.00 per child per night addded to the $99.00. My room I have booked at the Comfort Suites is only $152.00 so that is still the better deal for us.

I exlplained to the girl on the phone that we were coming in on a cruise ship and never even going to go to the room so put my children down as 11. She said very snippy " we check ID's".

So I guess I will take my business elsewhere and not spend any addditonal money at the Atlantis.

We booked sept 19 2 rooms! Great Deal. Our kids are 3 and 5 so worked out great for us. My parents in the other room, but still cheaper than 2 rooms at Comfort Inn!

p.s. The lady that booked us was very sweet and funny too. We joked around quite a bit. Guess it just depends on your luck of the draw.

We just cancelled out of this deal. It would have come to around $200 for the four of us. Not bad but I asked about cancellation penalty and found that we would lose our money if the ship skipped Nassau because of weather.

Hey, don't say it can't happen! We've had itinerary changes a few times on our cruises.

Yes, I worried about the cancellation thing too. I originally was just going to show up and try for a day room. But, then it occured to me I have travel insurance. I looked over the policy which does cover losses due to weather, so I'm covered! Woohoo!

And if anyone is going to be there on a Saturday (like we are) their rate is $119. for the day... not bad for 4 people but when you're like me and travelling with 13, well I asked, but they won't make any deal so it looks like we'll do the Blue Lagoon during the day and Casino only at night....
