lucinjo Posted May 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2014 The marketers have clearly been doing their research! The most profitable market segment in travel comes from people who want "the bundle". One call and they are done! They aren't like most of us on the boards who enjoy the research, the price drops, that cheap flight that is only a little bit of inconvenience. Because of limited research, they may not even be positive of what ports they will stop at. They are also more likely to book ship excursions and, since so much of their trip is prepaid they feel fine about onboard spending for things like spa, specialty restaurants, photos, etc.
Gran2five Posted May 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2014 We saw an offer yesterday for a Summit Bermuda cruise - roundtrip from Toronto to New York, 2 nights at the Westin Hotel, tickets to a Broadway show or 2 day tour pass and all transfers. For those who for lack of time, or simply the desire to have a one package deal - there will be a market.
