Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ? Park & Stay or Park at Port?

We are considering the new Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ - The reviews seem good, but I'm wondering if anyone has real life experience with using them and getting to the cruise port?

Also debating park and stay vs. just parking at the port. It's $81.12 more to do the park and stay package, but by the time you add the cost of a shuttle in for 4 adults and 1 child plus our bags, I'm thinking it may be cheaper to park at the port for our 9 night cruise. Thoughts? I haven't priced out shuttles yet -- that's next....

Parking at the port will cost $171 for 9 nights, so use that figure to do your math. I would park at the port even if the price was a couple of dollars more than parking at the hotel and taking a shuttle to and from the port. It's more convenient...you'll be on your way home minutes after disembarking rather than having to possibly wait for the shuttle and then going back to the hotel and loading your car before getting on the road.
