Last minute panic about visas....help please!

When we were on Azamara they arranged for all passengers to have a visa - whether you wanted/needed one or not!

 

They automatically added the fee to the on board spend account to be paid at the end of the cruise. It was at the US visa rate - not the UK visa rate which at that time meant that we paid $40.

British nationals need a visa to enter Turkey, except for cruise ship passengers with ‘British Citizen’ passports entering the country for a day trip, remaining in the port of embarkation and returning to the ship the same day.
