C&R Posted August 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2005  Hi, We want to book a balcony cabin but need some advice on the best ones for this ship? We have seen a picture of a balcony but it looks really enclosed they all seem to have an opening that is an oval shape around handrail instead of being completely open.Any advice or photos would be apreciated.!!! We cant afford a mini suite so that isnt an option. Thanks Christine

Remember that this class of ship was among the very first to have affordable balconies - at the time a groundbreaking concept. I've never stayed in an aft balcony, they may be a little different. I have pictures of the Sea's sister ship the Dawn, in my photo link.
Globaliser Posted August 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2005 Just two things to add: Most of the mini-suite balconies are basically the same as well in any case, only the balcony is twice the width (it has two hull cut-outs instead of one). The other thing is that the cut-outs on A and B decks are bigger than those on C deck, which may have an influence on your choice. If you want to see pictures of the ship, also look for pictures of Sun Princess, Ocean Princess, Adonia and Oceana. The four sister ships have borne six names between them - so far.
