We will be in Nassau February 8, 2015 and am wondering if getting a day pass to the British Colonial Hilton would be worth it. We will be in port from 7AM to 2 PM. Will the water be too cold to swim? Will anything be open early enough so we'll get our monies worth? Thank you!

Beach and pool open at 9am, Patio grill opens at 11am/ Kitchen at 11:30am.

And yes, it's possible it will be too cold to swim. Water temp is usually around 70, but the air can be cool as well. Depends on the weather during that time.

British Colonial Hilton daypass is $65pp, which includes $40 voucher for lunch and drinks.

We were there mid-January 2013. Air temps were in the high 70's and sunny. Water was cool, but not unbearable. As stated, the beach is available starting at 9am. It's only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the pier. I think it would be worth your money, especially with your limited port time. Any other beach excursion will be farther away and will cut into you time.
