UandMe4Ever Posted May 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Dash sale is obc based on cabin category. It is only "new" bookings. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Forums mobile app Hi, we booked the Gem, 11 night in Oct., on May 9th, BA balcony cabin. Could I cancel that today and rebook it with a different cabin and get the $250 OBC? Our T/A is off today. Could we do through NCL directly? Awaiting your reply for guidance. Thanks in advance. Safe sails.
UandMe4Ever Posted May 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Thanks, I see it's "new bookings". question is can I cancel and re-book different BA Cabin? Thanks again
bowbiter Posted May 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2014 A BA cabin will only get you $50 obc. Make sure that is worth the hassle of rebooking. You have to make all changes through your TA. If the dash sale is still going on tomorrow you should be OK making those changes then Sent from my SPH-L710 using Forums mobile app
UandMe4Ever Posted May 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2014 OK We are already getting a $50 OBC from the T/A and we'll use some of our Loyalty Points from their agency, so we'll actually have about $175 OBC in total. So, we're good with what we have....A couple of doors away from mid elevator.....works for us. Thanks and be safe.
Rare mizLORInj Posted May 18, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2014 It does pay to check your category's price when there is a dash sale. We have had our price lowered by canceling and doing a re-booking. Sometimes it's worthwhile--sometimes not.
nursemommy7578 Posted May 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2014 I just got a nice $300 price drop and an extra $50 OBC! Works for me!
Freckles_51 Posted May 19, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2014 I called my PCC and did not receive an answer...left a message but just wondering....would anyone at the general NCL number be able to change my booking to the OBC offer or can I only do that through the PCC? Squidward Q Tentacles Posted May 19, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 19, 2014 (edited) With the DASH going on I just saved a bunch of money, for me that is. On my Dec 1, 2014 Pearl cruise I went from an inside to an obstructed view GTY, picked up $30 in OBC and dropped my cruise price $95! On my 8-29-2015 Getaway cruise I picked up $100 OBC and my price dropped $215! I kept the same balcony. That's right at $440 savings! Pretty good savings for me! mabones Posted May 19, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 19, 2014 My cruise coming in November states that there are no more Balconies in my catagory available. How would the Dash Sale work with that?
