European Port Fee's

Recommended Posts

hi

My mum traveled a few years ago on a thomsons cruise - and if they didnt take the thomsons excursions they were charged a port fee.

Wondering of this still applies? as we are planning on taking ourselves out and about as we been to most places before.

thanks

You have already paid port fees in the price of your cruise, nothing more to pay.

You are free to get off the ship and do your own thing in all the ports(assuming you are not going to Russia where you need a visa).

In some ports where you dock away from the town RCL put on a shuttle bus which they charge for, but its your choice if you use it or not, often public transport works out cheaper.
