Day 4 Naples

We only arrived there at 1pm. We left the ship and decided to walk to the train station to see if we could catch the train to Pompeii. It’s not very far to walk, however we did few stops at shops etc, also crossing the street in Naples is a challenge.

The traffic rule in there is – there is no rules.

Everybody are driving whichever way the like and any direction that suit them. Pedestrian crossings and traffic lights are just suggestions, useless and they are just for laugh, as absolutely nobody is considering them.

Want to cross the street? Just run as fast as you can

When we finally got to the station and checked how long it would take us to get to Pompeii and back, we decided not to go, as we would be cutting it fine to be back for sailaway.

So we wandered a bit more on the streets, found the famous pizza place Michelle from the movie “Eat, Pray, love”

After that we went back to the ship and started getting ready for the dinner.

After dinner, the usual, we went to the Purple Bar, Casino and night club. Great night

WE really enjoyed the night club, as, they have waiters walking around, and we just ordered rounds from them.

Not once did we encounter slow service due to the face that we had Allegrissimo

If you ever want to cross a toad with relative ease in Rome or Naples wait for a nun to cross and walk with her. They stop for nuns.

Ah B52's. The cornerstone to a beautiful Allegrissimo evening.

Really enjoying this review. Pictures are great.

What's in a B52?

Lots of lovely stuff!

Kalua, Baileys & Gran Marnia.

Personally I like them heavy on the Kalua, light on the Gran Marnia.

You can either sip them nice and civilised or neck them in one.

....and there are 2 ways to do the civilised sipping....drink it layer by layer or sip itso you get a bit of each flavour at the same time. I prefer the latter. There is a Mack to the two different ways, but with Allegrissimo you can practise repeatedly.

Then again just do it like a shot!

I shall make this my first drink on Sunday then.:D

And when you down it (as you must) the chant goes "Three, two, one, Allegrisimo"

It became a "thing" on the Armonia and as a fine upstanding British alcoho.....I mean conessuir of fine drinks you can continue it. :p

I had to laugh at this one!

We did not have any problem crossing the streets in Naples. Why? because you just have to cross 1 time to go to Pompei! From the port the tram is right there, and getting off at the train station is very easy as well.

Rome is rather safe in comparison. I've been there many times and never had a problem. Just be awake.
