Question on difference between Triple and Double D1 Cabin on FOS

Recommended Posts

We are booked on Freedom in August and have a couple of D1 category cabins on Deck 10 for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids in 1686/1688). We choose those cabins to get two side by side that would accomodate 3 in one and 2 in the other.

My main question is what difference I should expect in those cabins. I expect 1688 to have additional bedding via sofa bed or pullman, but will the size or configuration of the cabins be different? I am wondering if it will make a difference in how we group the family in the cabins during the cruise based on the available layout.

Thanks a bunch for any help and if anyone has been in these cabins or location of the ship.

They will appear identical. The difference is that the sofa in one is just a sofa, and in the other it is a sofabed.
