Viking Oceans - Are there any deals out there?

Is there any flexibility on the price of Viking ocean cruises? When we booked our 2015 Viking Ocean cruise our TA could only book us at the published (2 for 1) book rate.

If possible, I would like to shop around if any other TAs can provide a more competitive price.

We are looking at the May 15, 2016 Viking Homelands, penthouse category, two people.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks,

Ed

BC Eddie,

I would call a couple of online TAs and ask.

When Viking Ocean first sent out their brochures, we called the online agencies that we had used in the past. One did not know about Viking Ocean. The other gave us over to their luxury cruise specialists, and gave us a discount from the advetised promotion price that Viking was posting.

As opposed to many of the mainstream ocean cruise lines, which prohibit rebating of portions of cruise fare to customers, at present, Viking- both River and Ocean have no such restriction. Therefore, you can consider discounts, as well as service when choosing an agent.
