New Cruise Planner Issue

Question....

 

 

 

Has anyone who already booked shore excursions on a cruise seen them duplicated on the new cruise planner web page?

 

 

 

When I go to My Calendar it shows both my husband and I twice for each one of our shore excursions... And when I go to our order history everything is doubled, although I only paid 1/2 of what the total is. ( and I have been watching my credit card and have not been charged for the second portion)

 

 

 

 

 

I can modify it on the cruise planner but am afraid of what will happen if I do....

 

 

 

Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this

 

 

 

 

 

Can't wait for this cruise....

I think you would be wise not to mess with it unless you have to. I'd call if you need to make changes,

Ours have also been paid for and not showing up. The cruise planner nor the calendar aren't showing them. My History showed I paid something but doesn't list what it was. The cruise planners at RCI say they can't see what I paid for, but see that something came out of my bank acct. They ask me to be patient that the system is being worked on. My fear is that I will be spending part of the first day at the shore excursion desk haggling over what I booked 60 days ago and them not seeing my reservation....

I would bring along the confirmations that RCCL sent to you after you booked and paid for the excursions. Check as soon as you get on board, you should have the tickets in your cabin. As long as RCL isn't trying to chareg you twice, I wouldn't worry.

i hope RCI realizes that they are losing money by having a crap website and IT dept.

 

I am sure many dont book because either the website is super slow or it glitches showing wrong info. sometimes reservations just disappear. its awful. as of right now i cant even select my cruise it just keeps "working" or should i say not working.

That IS EXACTLY what it says and it makes me want to throw MY computer! I have spent hours on the phone with RCI and somehow them telling me for the past 8 days they have been working around the clock to fix the problem isn't making me feel any better.

Wife is on phone as I type with C&A and we have an IT person with the Rep

25 min wait total call Time 58 minutes!!!

Lucky local calls are free:)

Looking at our bookings

Money shows as paid on invoice emailed

Money out of bank

Just no data on cruise planner or calendar

They are trying to email us excursion and drinks package invoice

Which they can see went from pending to booked... phew:rolleyes:

 

IT also looking at our reservation where we cannot see payment Tab or summary

So promising that they are looking at it 1st hand

Hopefully will all be resolved shortly...

1hr 13 mins still on phone

Status: well 2 of the excursions for 5 have fallen of the booking:rolleyes:

They certainly did not jump back into my bank account

Escalated to another department!!

We have their attention and will stay on the phone all night if needed;)

1hr 58mins on phone .. Exhausted!!!

Escalated to resolutions dept and Willow was able to resolve

One issue regarding payment tab and no payment summary.

Kudos to Willow.

So back to excursions, we're informed all will be resolved by next week

Must be a major upgrade for Saturday night:rolleyes:

Also Willow said she would call us back tomorrow and update us with any changes.

We are the patient type so will work with them to make it all work out

from my experience ,everything you purchased that is not showing up will be there when you board and info transferred to the ship . However it is fustrating not being aboe to see it at times inline, and this new glitch of not being able to even book anything is worse. smh.

That's what I said to the DW, the human side of the operation will resolve the

Issues and all will be plain sailing. Say no to robots:eek:

Amazingly my original problem seems to have fixed itself... I logged in just now and checked my calendar and my purchases and all is well, no more double excursions and double the cost...

 

I can't believe it fixed itself....

 

 

Hope everyone else's fixes themselves also

That's good news. Maybe the IT people are making some progress fixing things.

So frustrating when things go hay-wire on the RCI site.

 

I have learned to stay calm and wait to say what happens in a day or two.

 

Or

 

I tell the Spouse to worry about it and take care of it.

He has on occasion been on the phone to RCI for quite a while.
