To those of you who have contacted Players Club...Do you call or send an e-mail? Anyone know what they base your comps on? Some on here have said the last 24 months...I was told only on your last cruise, so i e-mailed again and was told we will get a premium bon voyage package...just curious as to the different replies from Players Club...

Hi, Brenda. Last year I tried calling, got voice mail, and finally gave up. Turns out Mike and one of his assistants was on vacation.

I finally emailed Mike and we received the Premium Bon Voyage Package. We were told on our 2013 B2B that each of our cruises was considered a separate cruise. However, they were considered one long cruise for the purpose of what perks we'd receive on our next cruise.

I'm not at home so I don't have my numbers or addy's with me but I'll post them later.

Future comps are based on the level of play or your number of points on your last cruise only. They do not accumulate during the year. On my B2B last year I got some perks from the casino during the 2nd week only because they new I was on a B2B for the 2nd week, then on my next cruise they only used the week 2 points of my B2B to determine my comps for that next cruise.

The casino hostess in 2013 is the one that told me that they use the whole 2 weeks of B2B for the next year's comps. Interesting that you were told something different.

I have only once contacted them and that was before my last cruise, my 5th Carnival cruise in 2010. I was never able to reach them by phone, but sent an email, and after several days, received an email back saying that I was eligible for the "something" special package, forget what it was called, but it consisted of a plate of chocolate covered strawberries one evening in my stateroom, as well as a free photo, and small album to put a few photos in. Was all good for me, and more than I have ever gotten before:D

Have you called or e-mailed yet for perks on your upcoming b2b cruise..?

My vote is for email...then print the reply and bring it with you if you are eligible for any casino perks. If your name isn't on their "list" but you have the email, you'll get whatever it is that you were told :). (I know to print them from prior experience with NOT being on their "list").

I did get an email from Mike when I called one time. I had asked him to send me the email, though.

That's one of the reasons I now communicate with him via. email. It's easier to get the response that way which includes what I sent to him.

I also print the email just in case.
