weezi Posted May 12, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 12, 2004 in 2005 the RC grandeur of the sea will be leaving out of new orleans, and it will stop at costa maya for two days. I have one brochure that shows 1 day and another that shows 2 days. So I called RC and they said it stops for two days. angela
MJL Posted May 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2004 I would be concerned about the information you received from RCI regarding the Grandeur. The published itineraries are a bit misleading. The itineraries may indicate 1 AM. That's 1 AM of the second day, so it's only one hour of the second day at most. The rest of the day is at sea. This Spring, our itinerary called for a 1 AM departure on Thursday, but we actually departed about 8:30 PM on Wednesday.

MJL Posted May 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2004 You're welcome. Costa Maya was nice, but all things considered, I don't know what you would do until 1 AM. And, I still don't know why we left at 8:00 instead of the scheduled time. It's not like we were pressed for time.
