Pride Itinerary Change???

I just read the great review of the Carnival Pride from cvbkpg. It sounded like the itinerary was reversed (Cabo, Mazatlan, then PV) Has it changed permanantly??:confused:

The change is only supposed to be through my cruise on Sept. 18th. Can't remember the reasoning exactly, but it makes me happy! Maybe they'll do it again next year and start with your cruise. :)

Sounds like the biggest reason for the change was a full day in Cabo, now 8 AM to 7 PM vs a 4PM departure the other way

I can't remember what they called it, but it had something to do with the scheduling of the ships in the ports. If you do a search here on CC, you'll find the threads about it.:)

Before we changed cruises we were booked on the 9/4 sailing of the Pride and Carnival notified us about the itinerary change stating that people wanted more time in Cabo, so they reversed it. The only down side to that was we truly enjoy the two days at sea prior to port days...makes the cruise seem longer at least to me. So we decided if we were going to only have one day at sea prior to ports, we would do it much closer to home.
