Martin and Lindsey Posted May 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2014 We were in Nice last weekend and walked a looooonnnng way to see the Russian Cathedral. I just wanted to let people know that it is closed and covered with scaffolding. It looks like it will be closed for a long time.
Sheal Posted May 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the info. I was interested in seeing it on our trip next May after seeing the ones in St. Petersburg. Reminds me of the time I dragged my husband and in-laws on a 30 minute walk to see the statue of Poseidon in Gothenburg, Sweden. Just when we finally reached it, they shut the fountain down for some type of maintenance. What a bummer!
