Sorry for the mundane questions, but how do you pay for using the washer and driers in the laundry rooms? Do the machines take quarters, dollar bills? Thanks in advance.

Quarters. You can either bring them, there's an often empty change machine, or get them at the front desk.

 

I believe someone said the Royal and Regal use your cruise card instead, not sure.

It as $2 worth of quarters on the Emerald earlier this month. $2 for the washer and $2 for the dryer. In our case the change machine was working.

Most ships take $US quarters. The Royal and Regal take tokens which can be obtained from a machine in the laundry room.

Just be careful when you put the money in that you know which slot goes to which machine. On the Island passengers were getting confused and putting money into the wrong machines.
